ESTBB offers operational and comprehensive courses of biology and biotechnology. With a student-centered pedagogy, the entire ESTBB team has set itself the task of strengthening the knowledge, skills and interpersonal skills of each of them.
Our school offers two Bachelor / License level courses and one Engineer level, open to international students for inter-university exchange semesters.

Before embarking on your exchange adventure at ESTBB, it is crucial to follow these essential steps:
Are you interested in pursuing a non-degree exchange at ESTBB and perform one semester or one year at ESTBB, without earning a separate degree from the host university?
IF YES, There is a partnership between your university and ESTBB or UCLy:
1. Verify the existence of a partnership agreement: Collaborate with your university coordinator to confirm if a partnership agreement exists between your university and ESTBB. This step is essential to determine your eligibility for the exchange program.
2. If you will be coming to ESTBB through an exchange program between your University and ESTBB, you will not be required to pay tuition fees in Lyon. If, however, you are an independent candidate, you must fill in the application form for non-exchange students, which stipulates the financial conditions.
3. Inquire about internal selection: Each university may have its own selection criteria for exchange students. Contact your university coordinator to learn about the specific selection procedures at your institution.
4. If your application is validated by your university and ESTBB, the following procedure will apply: Nomination by your coordinator. Your university coordinators will play a crucial role in your exchange process. They will be responsible for completing the official nomination form, formalizing your application.
5. Once your nomination is validated, you will receive a welcome email from ESTBB. This email will contain instructions for completing the registration form and introduce you to the people who will support you throughout your mobility.
6. Upon completing your registration, a member of ESTBB international mobility team will contact you to offer personalized assistance. This assistance may include guidance on finding accommodation, selecting courses, and completing other administrative steps related to your exchange.
